Registration form Introduction to Glass.
UPDATE: Classes after Dec. 6th are canceled. We will Resume Classes After the Holidays. Stay Tuned for more information.
Come find out what the glassblowing is all about! In this three hour class we will introduce you to the world of hot glass. Learn from an instructor the basics of making your own custom paperweight. This class is short and to the point, and affordable. The best part is that you will be able to pick up the very paperweight you make once it has gone through the post production process. There will also be a group piece made that will highlight the team aspect of blowing glass.
Prerequisite: None
Cost: $75.00
Students required: 3
Maximum class size: 4
1/2 hour orientation for first time visitors to the studio.

Safety is always a concern when working around hot glass. Standard workshop safety is universal. If you have long hair it should be put up and out of the way. Cotton clothing is a must, synthetics melt and that's no fun. Contacts are not recommended
for the same reason. Its not shorts weather in the shop right now but it is t-shirt weather. Bring an old sock that can be used as a "sleeve" to help protect yourself from the heat. Some safety glasses are available upon request, UV rated safety glasses are recommended, no sunglasses.
